When patterns are cut to mass produce clothes, 16.36% of textiles become waste*, or what Filipinos refer to as “retaso.” These are the trimmings, the excess fabric, the gaps in between patterns. It’s an end to their life cycle.
But for Nin & Yang, this is where it all begins. Our clothes are completely made of these unwanted scraps. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and meticulously sewn together to breathe new life into discarded fabric.
Wearing our original designs, we want you to step out of your comfort zone without feeling uncomfortable. When we say “free size,” we really value your freedom — in terms of fit, movement, and even personality.
Each piece is easily adjustable to hug your unique shape. Plus, you can have fun dressing it up or down, while
always standing out.
Meet Nina and Thea (aka “Yangi”). One’s as cool as a cucumber, the other’s as zesty as a lemon, but both dig a good salad. Nin & Yang is a fresh mix of things we love — good design, a cute outfit, and zero waste.
If there’s one thing we enjoy more than creating something extraordinary with the ordinary, it’s seeing others feel good in it.
